Friends Visiting In Davao

It's been a while since we last saw our friends, Louchelle and her husband Louie.  After 2 years since we last spent time together at their wedding in Tagaytay, Nene and her husband Louie decided to come to Davao and meet with us since they also were visiting their relatives in a neighboring city here in Mindanao.  It was a special reunion, since my wife and Nene were good friends way back in their elementary  until high school years.  They almost forgot they had their husbands with them (LOL), just chatting and recalling memories they had back then.

The reminiscing was stopped for a while when our sumptuous dinner was served.  We decided to treat them to Abreeza's best Baby Back Ribs we've tasted so far... Ranchero Grill.   With their roasted tuna belly, special pinakbet, seafoods sinigang and some desserts, it was quite a meal... And after dinner, since the night was still young, coffee beverages  was just perfect.  So we decided to have it in Starbucks.  How convenient it is to have an Ayala Mall here in Davao City.

I recalled back then, I first saw Starbucks in Ayala Complex, Cebu.  And I had my first taste of their coffee blend when we visited SM Mall of Asia in Manila.  Now, they're here, I'm just waiting for Sbarro and Krispy Kream to follow, which I think won't be long from now.  But hey, don't get me wrong, I'm not mucho dinero, these stuffs just good for special occasions such as meeting good friends, which won't happen everyday or I'll pass... 3 in 1, anyone... hahaha.

Going back, my wife and I had the same fave, Starbucks' Strawberries and Cream or Caffe Latte.  But we preferred the smoothies back then, so we had the S&C.  We had a nice long chat on hows life and sharing some working experiences, and guess what, I can't stop ourselves agreeing to every experience we share.  It was kind of funny that where ever company you go, there will always be those kind of people apart from those making sense.

In as much as we enjoyed each others company, goodbyes was inevitable as the night progressed and  they still had to prepare for their flight the following day for their trip back to United Kingdom for their work.  After exchanging warm farewells, we went home and I just can't help but notice my wife's smile on her face.  So precious.  Yahweh bless.
