Golden Eggs of Angry Birds Seasons

I'm still stuck with Angry Birds... hehe.  And now, I'll share to you some tips on how and where to get the golden eggs in the Seasons edition.

Let's start with Trick or Treat... there's only 1 golden egg here and it is found in level 1-32.  Just shoot your green bird in the other direction and activate its boomerang ability to hit the pumpkin bearing the golden egg in the upper right corner as illustrated below.

Then, to Season's Greedings... go to level 1-13.  Simply hit the Christmas wreath and you'll have the only golden egg in this edition.  Kindly see suggested attack below.

Let's go to Hogs and Kisses... also, 1 golden egg and its found in level 1-7.  You can use your white bird's bomb to hit the flying egg below the platform (encircled with blue as illustrated below).

Now, to Go Green, Get Lucky part... here, there's only a single golden egg and found in level 1-8.   Use your yellow bird to zoom its way up in a trajectory to hit a golden egg in the top right hand corner of your screen (you won't miss it, there's an arrow pointing on it).  See suggestion below in black dots.

And to Easter Eggs, where you'll get most of the golden eggs... 9 eggs to my count.  Since there's a lot, I'll only show illustrations to where it needed most.  Ready, okay lets enumerate where to find them and hints on how to get them:

1. Level 1-2 - simply hit the egg found in the patch of grass right under the slingshot.

2. Level 1-4 - hit the grass nearest to the platform and the golden egg will be revealed.  May I suggest to use the yellow bird to destroy the wooden structure and then use the red bird to bounce its way to the grass, as illustrated below.

 

3. Level 1-6 - Zoom your yellow bird up in a correct angle to hit the golden egg in the far right portion in a platform in the enemy's territory.

4. Level 1-7 - Bomb the concrete blocks at the back of the platform by firing your white bird backwards and the golden egg is yours.

5. Level 1-8 - hit the TNT hanging under the platform by firing your red bird to the opposite wall and bounce its way to your objective as suggested in the illustration below.

6. Level 1-9 - hit the TNT found at the back of the platform and an egg will appear in the far right side below the platform of the enemy's structure.

7. Level 1-10 - hit the grass in the side just below the slingshot platform using your green bird and an egg on a rope-like made of wood would fall down from the sky.  Don't do anything, it will just break and fall.

8. Level 1-12 - Use the green bird to hit the doughnut hanging in a platform in the farthest right corner.  Then, hit the golden egg that drops.

9. Level 1-15 - Hit the grass patch at the back of the slingshot platform.  And a ball made of wood would appear... you need to destroy it.  Then, eggs will drop down from the sky and break to the ground... followed by a golden egg swinging in the sky... here timing is everything. 

And last but not the least, Summer Pignic... get 2 golden eggs here. 

1. Level 1-3 - Using the white bird, drop a bomb at the rear where the platform of the slingshot stands.  It must be accurate to hit the specific spot (as encircled below in the illustration) and the golden egg is yours.

 

2. Level 1-14 -  Just like in Go Green, Get Lucky... zoom your yellow bird up in a correct angle to hit the golden egg in the farthest right portion of the platform.  Or you can blow up the TNT near the pile of rocks, if that would be easier for you.  See illustration below.

Getting To The Angry Birds Fever

I've got pre-installed games when we bought our laptop... my kids got curious if they could play it, so I let them,. Thing is they would usually ask me to play it for them if they can't beat or solve the game (which I enjoy yet get annoyed sometimes especially if I'm busy doing something).

But, having this long vacation, I'm quite struck with this game called "Angry Birds Seasons".  It has the same concept as those of the previous 2 Angry Birds... the Classic and Rio.  For those not so familiar with the game, it really has simple mechanics... birds are provided to you in a specific order, you then use your mouse or touch pad/ screen to stretch the slingshot and release the birds to bump the enemies (pigs, monkeys or an enemy bird... depending on the series you're playing) and/or destroy their structure... You must be able to eliminate all otherwise you lose.

In the Seasons Edition, you can play Angry Birds in different themes, namely Halloween's Trick or Treat, Christmas' Season's Greedings, Valentine's Hogs and Kisses, St. Patrick's Go Green, Get Lucky, Easter's Easter Eggs (which you'll find most of the golden eggs) and Summer's Summer Pignic.

There are seven types of birds in the Seasons series:

• Red Bird - the most basic type and has no hidden ability... just makes a sound when you click it.  Breaks glass fairly, but doesn't do much with other construction materials.
• Blue Bird - it has the ability to split into three small projectile in a simple tap on the screen or left click of the mouse.  Especially good in breaking glass constructs.
• Yellow Bird -With its ability of super speed (still upon tapping of the screen or clicking the mouse), it can reach long distance structures and enemies.  Provides great damage in woods but doesn't do much in materials like glass and stone.
• Black Bird - the "bomb bird" automatically turns red and explodes when in contact with enemy and it's structure.  Great in any construction material and do massive destruction especially when placed at the bottom.  Just be careful not to tap or click since it also explodes that way.
• White Bird - it drops an explosive egg upon click or tap and with the right angle, can also be used as a good projectile weapon at the same time.  But when not clicked or tapped, it is just an ordinary projectile bird.  Effective usage would be in structure gaps... for it only destroys the material directly hit by the bomb egg.
• Green Bird - the "boomerang bird" has the special ability to spin backwards with roughly a double speed.  It is mainly used to destroy the other side of the construction which mostly is its weak spot.  But bear in mind that just like the other birds with special ability, once it touched the enemy or its structure, boomerang function can no longer be activated. 
• Big Red Bird - otherwise known as "Big Brother Bird".  Upon contact, it gives a good wallop to the enemies and its structure... it does have the same power as the black bird just that, it does not explode.

Here, you need to hit the Christmas wreath to get the golden egg.

There's no technique in playing the game... it's a long trial and error method.  But one thing I can share is how to unlock additional games.  First, is the golden egg... each golden egg you get means an additional game for you.  You just need to find and hit a specific spot or thing (i.e. grass, concrete, egg or something odd) in a particular game, then you'll be prompt by a golden egg appearing in your screen.  Just be watchful for some of these eggs are hidden. 

By the way,  you can find and play the extra game by clicking the eggs located in the last part of the game selections.  You'll earn a star in your eggs when you finish the game successfully.  

And secondly, earning 3 stars in all games in each season unlocks an additional game for you.  You can go to the game by clicking the center piece in a season's page.  As a sample illustration in the left, its an egg with 3 stars.  It has a pale color and isn't accessible when you had not yet accomplish all 3 stars in all games in a season.  Further, the 3 stars will turn yellow/gold in the center image (here, in Easter, is a colorful egg) if you accomplished the game successfully.

So, that will be it.  I hope you enjoy the game especially with your kids.  Me, at first I wasn't that interested, but as the game progressed and I was challenged to get the 3 stars in each game... I started to ask my kids to go and play some physical games... and told them that I have something important to do... then I'm back to the game to get those egg robbing laughing annoying pigs... LOL.

Time For A Week Long Vacation Spree

Having October 31 and November 1 declared as holiday, my wife and I decided to go visit my in-laws... and do the needed transactions we had to accomplish at the same time.  So we had our leaves arranged for the rest of the week.  The kids were really excited to visit their lola, lolo and titas. Well, I know their grandparents were excited to see them as well.

During our stay, as the kids were enjoying the pool in a nearby resort under the care of our parents, we were able to watch our long awaited movie... hassle-free and with piece of mind that the kids are well taken care of. After watching Amanda Seyfried and JT's "In Time", we were impressed with the writer's concept of using time as a metaphor for power and money, as it used time as currency... and literally, running out of time will cause a sudden cardiac arrest causing your death.   I like to elaborate more... but that would definitely kill the thrill for those who want to watch it... all I can say is... it's a two-thumbs up for me.

We always  enjoy our stay everytime we are in Gensan (with my in laws). A very comfortable one indeed.  From as simple as, a nice warm shower with no water interruption... to the convenience of WiFi and cable for some leisure time... not to mention the relief of having a lot of comfort rooms (whew)... the strolling in malls and around the city, and most of all, the food feast... from viands to cakes... to candies and chocolates... to fruits and ice creams... to chips and fast foods... boodles in every fridge. Just glad to still have control over the kids sweet tooth... or was it just the kids (hehe) :))

Well, our stay was not all for fun, there were stuffs we had to do and take care of ...It's nice to have an unfinished business get over and done with....for good.  We also couldn't avoid uncool things like the kids tantrums... as my in-laws termed it, the "long playing", since its annoyingly long and seemingly endless like a "24 in 1" compact disk.  Oh well, what's a  life of a parent without some little spices... it'll be so boring, right? hahaha.  I'll share some thoughts about it with you guys later and I would love to exchange techniques and meaningful experiences that help us go through with children expectations... LOL. Nevertheless, I thank Him for sparing me a little quality and precious time to enjoy and take some needed rest... just enough that it made me want to crave for more.  Take care everyone... it'll be one whole busy day ahead... Halloween Spirits

Back then, in our country, October 31 wasn't really a day to look forward to.  In fact, it was just another ordinary day in the calender, followed by two consecutive holidays... November 1 and 2, All Saints and All Souls Day, respectively.  But as time passed by, television started showing other cultures and ideas which suggested that kids wear scary and fantasy costumes and roam around malls and stores... asking for a "trick or treat"... well, most would be treat I guess... lol.  It's Halloween...

Halloween wasn't really one of our practices, but when I was invited by a friend a few years ago and asked me to bring my kids to go for "trick or treat" in their leased commercial area... I saw my kids enjoy themselves... loving their costumes and most of all... getting goodies and candies... and it was a fun event...since then, my kids have been looking forward to have it again...

 

In fact, we just came from a nearby mall with our kids... roamed the place and been to every single shop inside... just for some candies... it was tiring that I even thought of buying them candies myself, but then again I thought, where's the fun with that... sometimes I just ask myself silly questions when I get tired... and I just answer it when I start having fun... or having this fulfillment to see a twinkle in the eyes of my children and a smile in their faces... and that's all that matters. 

So well, after a tiring activity with our children, we went straight to... no, not home... it's my  nephew's Ben 10 birthday party.  I definitely needed my power pack then... How I wished I can turn into one of those aliens... "Humungousaur or Spidermonkey" would do, since they seem  to be very energetic to me... haha.  I think parents should sometimes scare off and boo those tiring thoughts away... have a fun-filled Halloween everyone... Part IX – To Love And To Hate (In Filipino "Tagalog" dialect)

Then she froze.... Reality came back to her... She covered her mouth with her two hands in disbelief for what she had done.  Guilt crept into her system.  She just gave herself to a happily married man.  How selfish... how stupid... how could she let this happen.

She immediately gathered her clothes, put them on and looked at Damon trying to hold her tears back... Then she ran as fast as she could to her room and tried to compose herself in front of a mirror.

Calm down Steph... You were in your most vulnerable state and he seduced you... Be Strong! Sooner or later, you will have to face him and tell it straight to his face that what happened between the two of you was nothing... Just sex between two consenting adults... Period.  She tried hard convincing herself.

Then she remembered Miggs... She was ready to move on... Try to start a life with someone other than Damon.  It was Miggs who had always been there for her.  Miggs is waiting for her at “The Patio”, the resort’s restaurant.  Maybe the only way to convince Damon that she’s not that affected is to let him see that she has moved on.  Besides yun naman talaga ang plano nya, and tanggapin na ang pag-ibig ni Miggs.

She took a warm shower, put on her pink floral sun dress, and tied her hair into a ponytail.  She applied a little blush on and light lipstick.

“Hello beautiful!” Tawag ni Miggs

“Hi, kanina ka pa ba?”

“Hindi naman, you look so fresh today, am I missing something?”

Pinamulahan ng pisngi si Stephanie.  Mabuti nalang at nakapagblush on sya.  Di niya maiwasang makaramdam ng guilt.

“Thank you”, yun nalang ang naisagot nya.

“What do you want for lunch?” Tanong ni Miggs.

“Nagpahanda na ako Miggs, I know you like deep fried hito”

“Wow, I’m flattered you remembered my favourite.

Ngumiti lamang si Steph.

“How are you, I missed you?” Malambing na tanong ni Miggs.

“Ahm, Miggs, I’ve been thinking about what you said before I left for the States.”

“Yes, and I’m still offering it until now... Steph, you know I love you so much... If you would just open your heart and give me a chance.”

“Miggs, before I answer that, you need to know something.  The reason why I went to the States was that I went looking for someone from my past.  He was my first love but he met an accident kaya kami nagkalayo.  His name is Damon Samuel.  I found out that Damon is already happily married.  Finally, I got a closure from my unfinished past.  I already let him go but he showed up early this morning which got me all confused all over again.”

“Are you saying that Damon is here right now?

“Yes, why, do you know him?”

“Yes, I provide bodyguards for his family.”

“He is here at nagkita kami kanina.” Hindi na sya nag elaborate about what else happened.

“Steph, you know how I feel about you.  I am deeply in love with you.  I will always be here for you and ready to marry you anytime.  Just say yes please.” Tila nagmamakaawa ang tono ni Miggs.

“I don’t know Miggs, maybe I need some time to think, to tell you honestly, I’m not sure about how I feel anymore.  I’m sorry Miggs but as of now, I think I still have a feeling for him.  But I also know that it’s too late for me now.  Damon is already married and I am not gonna ruin a happy marriage.” Naluluhang pagpapaliwanag ni Steph.

Hinaplos ni Miggs ang likod nya at nilapit nito ang balikat ni Steph sa kanya.

“Shhhh... It’s ok Steph... I’m just here.  I’ll wait for you until you are ready.  Give yourself time.  Just remember that I am not giving up on you.” Magkadikit ang balikat nila, nakatingin si Miggs kay Steph habang nakayuko naman ito.

Ito ang inabutan ni Damon na sitwasyon pagdating nya sa Patio.  The last person that he was expecting to be sitting so close beside Stephanie was his friend Miguel.

“Did you tell her about the job I gave you before you met her Miguel?” It was the most ice cold voice she ever heard.

“Damon.” Gulat na napatayo si Steph.

“Hello sweetheart...” Sinagot nya si Steph without looking at her.  Matalim ang tingin nito kay Miggs.  Gigil na gigil si Damon at halos hindi nya kayang kontrolin ang kanyang sarili na sugurin si Miggs ng suntok.

“Damon pare, I wasn’t expecting you to come here.”

“Wasn’t expecting you either.” Sagot ni Damon

“Why don’t we all sit together and talk pare.” Miggs offered Damon a seat.

“No!... I mean I need to go back to my office, I have lots of work to do.” Nagpanic na si Steph. Abot langit ang kabog ng kanyang dibdib. She was about to leave when Damon interrupted.

“Tatakasan at pagtataguan mo nanaman ba akong muli Stephanie?” He looked at her this time.

She melted like thin ice under the sun. But she kept her composure.

“No, Damon, and I never did that before.  It was you who never came back and happily moved on.”

“Is he your boyfriend?”
 

“Yes, and I think it’s none of your business.” Sa galit ni Steph ay ito ang kanyang naisagot.  Naintindihan naman ito ni Miggs.

“So Miggs, Does she know everything about our arrangement before... Did you tell her pare?”

“What arrangement?... Miggs?” Now she was puzzled.

“I’ll explain it to you later Steph, please calm down”

“Why not explain it to her now?” Pag hamon naman ni Damon.

“Pare, what is the point of all this? You clearly said from the last time we talked that you have no business with her anymore, diba pare? Why are you doing this now?” Sagot ni Miggs.

“Miggs, I demand that you tell me what is this all about, wag mo akong gawing tanga please.  Is there something you’re not telling me?” Stephanie interrupted.

Napatahimik si Miggs... Yumuko.

“I’m so sorry Steph, believe me. I’ve been planning to tell you this kaya lang natakot ako na baka lumayo ka sa akin.  Remember the first time we met at the hospital when you were still an intern?  It wasn’t an accident... I was discreetly watching you.  Damon hired me to look for you Steph.  During that time I wasn’t sure yet that it was you... Then I fell for you, I couldn’t keep myself from seeing you since then.  Because of what I felt for you, I forgot all my reason for being in Davao.  It was all because I fell in love with Queen Stephanie already.  I did not investigate further about Stephanie Martinez whom I was looking for.  Forgive me for not being honest with you Steph, wag mo sana akong layuan please.” Miggs was pleading.

Steph couldn’t believe what she just heard.  It was all a lie, their friendship was all a lie.  Miggs was a private investigator hired to look for her and she was totally clueless about it.  Nag mukha syang tanga.  Tumingin sya kay Damon.

Damon was looking at her too with emotions she can’t read.  Was it anger, pity or lust she was seeing in those eyes.  Uminit ang kanyang pakiramdam.

“Why didn't you tell me earlier?” Tanong ni Steph kay Miggs.   Things could have been different...We could have had a chance together.  Now it’s too late!

“How could you not tell me earlier Miggs!”

“I’m so sorry Steph, I didn’t want to lose you.” Lumapit si Miggs sa kanya.

“Stay away, don’t touch me please.” She was trying to keep herself from crying.

She couldn’t look at Damon... He looked for her ... She felt happy and sad at the same time.  Happy because Damon looked for her, sad because he easily gave up and married somebody else.  She had to stop all these once and for all.  She gathered herself and looked straight at the two men in front of her.

“Listen, you two, because this, I will only say once... You have done so much pain already... I do not want to see any of you ever again... Please spare me some respect and stay the hell away from me.” Tumalikod sya at naglakad palayo—she made it sure that not a single tear would fall from her eyes habang nasa harap nya ang dalawang lalaki.

“Stephanie!... Don’t you dare leave me again!” Tawag ni Damon.

Tumigil sya sa paglalakad at lumapit pabalik kay Damon.  She was only a feet away from him.  Sinadya nya ito upang silang dalawa lang ang makakarinig.

“Damon, I think you are not in the position to say that to me anymore, you very well know it’s too late... If you think that what happened this morning was something, you are mistaken.  What happened between us was nothing to me... It was just sex and nothing but sex.  So don’t call me like you own me because you have no right.  Go back to your wife and daughter Damon, and don’t bother me anymore please.”  At muli itong nag lakad palayo without waiting for his reply... This time her tears fell.  She was so hurt by her words because she knows that they were all lies... But it was what she thought was the right thing to do.

Natulala si Damon sa mga sinabi ni Stephanie sa kanya.  Ni hindi nya nakuhang sumagot man lang.  Nothing but sex?  But she gave herself to him for the first time for Pete’s sake!... He knew it was her first.  What kind of a woman would do that?  Then her last words echoed in his mind...”Go back to your wife and daughter Damon”... What was that supposed to mean?  Did she think that he was married?  How could she think that?  Humarap sya kay Miggs.

“Pare?... Don’t tell me that you told her that I was already married because I will forget that our friendship ever existed and bust your head off!”

“Shut up pare...you know I wouldn’t do that” Galit ngunit malumanay na sagot ni Miggs.

“Then why does she think that I have a wife and a daughter?” Napaisip si Damon... Then she remembered the lady in red... Of course it was her!  She actually went looking for him too.  Stephanie was that lady in red watching him with Megan and Abbie.  Kaya pala bigla itong tumalikod at patakbong pumasok ng elevator.

But Stephanie hates him so much right now.  He wasn’t sure how she really feels about him after this morning.  He knows that talking to her isn’t gonna help in this present state that she is in.  So he decided to go back to his cabin and formulate a plan.:.” Operation: bring her back by all means.”

“She is mine Pare! You must damn well know that!” Banta nito kay Miggs.

“Just let her choose man.”

“Ok, but don’t waste time because she is gonna choose me.”

“Di ka parin talaga nag bago Damon... Sigurista ka parin.” 

“I’m glad you remember.” Saka na ito naglakad pabalik sa kanyang cabin.

Habang naglalakad si Damon pabalik ay naalala nya ang namagitan sa kanilang dalawa kaninang umaga.  It was a night he couldn’t forget.  Stephanie and Ms. Lady in red became his.  Habang natutulog si Steph kanina ay halos isang oras din syang pinagmasdan ni Damon.  Hinalikan ang halos lahat ng parte ng kanyang katawan.  This morning, he vowed to never ever let this woman go.  She was his and his alone.

Pumasok si Damon sa kanyang kwarto at humarap sa salamin ng walk in closet.  He washed his face and hands.  When he placed his hands on the drier, it didn’t start.  It was then that he remembered about the black book... Now where was it. He found the book underneath the sink, it must have accidentally fallen from where he placed it.  He picked it up and slowly opened the pages... To his surprise, it was a journal... Stephanie’s journal. The first page read:

Dear Damon,

My dad, couldn’t recognize me anymore, it’s very painful to see him slowly waste away.  What makes it more painful is that you are not here with me.  If that accident didn’t happen, would you get mad if I told you that I’m Queen Stephanie Tuason and not Stephanie Martinez?... I wanted to tell you about my secret that night just after I have told you that I love you.  Yes, that was my plan... But unfortunately I never got the chance to do so... I wanted to take care of you in the hospital but they airlifted you to the US.

Damon, how are you right now?  Not a single day that I don’t pray for your fast recovery.  I will wait for your return Damon.  I miss you...I love you.

Stephanie

Every page of the book started with his name... His heart almost couldn’t contain the flattery.  All this time he suppressed his feelings and camouflaged it with hatred just so he can go on with his daily routines at work.  He even surrounded himself with beautiful women just to forget about her... But his subconscious would tell him otherwise and remind him in his dreams that only Stephanie can own his heart.  He may look happy and successful but deep inside he felt empty...void...nobody.  All these years, Stephanie never forgot a thing about him, from day1 till present.  He had to talk to her right now.  He went out again and headed straight to the reception area.

“Yes sir?  What can I do for you.?”

“Hi, have you seen Stephanie?” Nginitian nya ng matamis ang receptionist.

“Oh, I’m so sorry sir but Ms Stephanie already left.” Pacute na sagot ng babae.

“Where did she go?” Di nagpahalata si Damon na nagulat ito.

“Dr. Stephanie is having her residency at the Tuason Medical Center in Davao city... Sir, are you a friend of hers?” Di napigilang magtanong ng receptionist.

“I’m her fiancé... She just doesn’t know it yet.” Kinindatan nya ang dalaga.

He couldn’t believe that for the third time, Stephanie left him again.  He can’t blame her... If Stephanie felt something for him too, finding out that he was already married could have devastated her.  Maybe that was the reason why she was crying early this morning.  She must have given up on him because she already got rid of the book.

Now it’s his turn to show her the love that he had been hiding for so long.  It felt good to finally break free of his feelings.  He would follow her in Davao and pursue her like a gentleman.  He will not give up until she says yes.
