Psalm 23:1

"The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want."... A psalm of David.  Other versions translate it as "The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing."... which is a lot clearer for me.

Normally, when I travel I can't help but notice stickers or messages in other automotives I'm following.  I'm just quite struck by this Bible passage since I saw it yesterday and saw it again it again today in a different car.  Coincidence or is it just that this verse is quite popular? Coincidence or popular, for me, seeing it twice in a row means that Yahweh wants me to see and internalize His message.

At first I was confused, what did it mean... that I don't want the Lord to be my shepherd?  That's totally absurd, i know that for a fact.  So upon reaching the office, I searched the net... and I got this answer:
Because the Lord is his guide, leader, and provider for all matters physical, spiritual, and otherwise, he will not be lacking in any area of need.

Maybe the Lord is just telling me not to worry so much about things... because He had already taken care of it for me.  Sometimes, I'm praying of solutions to my problems... but what I get  are obstacles .. But how wrong I was... to think those were obstacles... they were actually the solution I needed... I was just not looking at the bigger picture.  All the things that's happening to our lives has a purpose... though it may look like the other way around but in the long run you'll see... it's better that way... You learn... you become stronger... you benefit more.

Yahweh don't give us things we can't handle... more, He won't give us something that will destroy or harm us... just open your mind and your heart... and you'll see what I mean.  To Yahweh be the glory.

  3. I believe in very much the He has a plan for us and will not give us more than we can handle. I also believe that from every experience we take a little something away from it. Lovely blog.
