Unwinding At NRC2

Immediately after we arrived in General Santos City, we proceed to a resort called NRC2 Garden Resort (haven't really asked them about their name).  Just coming from a more or less 3 hours bus trip, the very first thing I would love to do was to lay down and sleep to a cozy bed... but going to the place was unexpectedly not that bad as well.  It was purely simple fun, nothing fancy about the place, makes it perfect for unwinding and relaxation.  More, we're lucky the place wasn't that crowded at that moment... in fact, our group was the only one there.

The resort was just kilometers away but far enough from the busy life of the city... not to mention that it is surrounded by mountain view.  As for facilities and amusement, they offer the following:

  • They have a 4 feet to 6 feet deep pool for adults and a separate pool for the kids with slides (the kids really enjoyed them).
  • Cottages and function rooms
  • A tennis court
  • Karaoke or sing-a-long stations (wasn't able to get the mic from my wife...LOL)
  • And an ostrich (just saw one, not sure if there's more... hehehe)

If you're curious to visit their place, they are located at PhilTrade, Barangay Mabuhay, General Santos City.  It's quite tricky to get to the place, so you may want to ask for direction and other information in their contact number 0918-229-1630.  Good luck.  Yahweh bless.

  4. I dig the pool, since it's only up to 6 feet (I'm always hesitant to swim in deeper waters as I get cramps most of the time). Anyhow, the resort ambiance does look peaceful and worthy of exploring. :)

  9. The cottages make the place so natural and antique. The kiddie pool is very inviting especially my hyper four grandchildren. I love the place to unwind our weekend too if it is only near to our place like Negros Occidental.
